Mr. Cheung graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. He has five years of experience in laboratory management and has worked on data analysis and coordination at the Fire Eye Laboratory in Hong Kong during the pandemic, assisting in the establishment of a temporary air-inflated laboratory for high-throughput virus testing. He also served as a Quality Monitoring Officer, ensuring that laboratory processes operated smoothly. After the pandemic, he was involved in newborn screening for hereditary metabolic diseases at a large medical diagnostic center, primarily assessing the risk of diseases in newborns for early intervention and treatment. His current responsibilities include developing sample handling and storage procedures, conducting sample testing and data preparation, monitoring test quality, performing internal test evaluations, writing laboratory operation documents, and serving as the client liaison for special testing projects.
